He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvador Lamas and Jesusita Lamas; his siblings, Manuel Lamas (Theresa), Elia Miles (Harvey) and Aurora Roxson; and his grandchildren, Anthony Lamas and Willie Flores.

He is survived by: his children, Judith Twomey (Jerry), Richard Lamas (Catherine), Yolanda Hancock (Dennis), Alex Leonard Lamas (Maria) and James Lamas (Roberta); his grandchildren, Celeste Twomey, Stephen Lamas, Rebecca Lamas, Carissa Lamas, Candace Boubion (David), Michael Hancock (Tiffani), Matthew Lamas (Sydney), Krystyna Taft (Kris), Zachary Lamas, Mackenzie Lamas and Jacqulin Lamas; and his siblings, Maria Brunner, Louis Lamas (Jean) and David Lamas (Cathy). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; 5 great great-grandchildren.

The family requests any donations in Alexander's honor be made to the Sangre de Cristo Hospice.
