He is survived by: his children, Anthony Hernandez (Charlene), Christopher Hernandez and Antoinette Ortiz (Mark); his grandchildren, Anthony Jr., Richard, Carlos Joseph, Daniel, Roberta, Steven, Joseph, Isaac, Shaylea, Christopher, Dominick and Relena; his great grandchildren, Anntheylea, Anna, Zenaya, Jannie, Zanuel, Nolly, Zariah, Vanessa, Richard Jr., Zayden, Malaya and Alainna; and his siblings, Sarah Rueda and Victor Hernandez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Romero Family Funeral Home (110 Cleveland St, Pueblo, CO 81004). A burial will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pikes Peak National Cemetery (10545 Drennan Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80929).
