We announce the death of Benjamin Burgos Flores of Pueblo, Colorado, who passed away on September 13, 2026, at the age of 88. Benjamin will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Flores and Amelia Flores Burgos; his wife Ramona Flores; and his daughter Anna Baca. He is survived by: his sister Lydia Flores; his children, Eva Maldonado (Samuel), Dolores Naranjo (Chavelo), Toby Vigil (Susan), Jerry Vigil, Phil Vigil (Barbara), Joseph Vigil (Daniela) and Richard Vigil (Andrea); and his proud Puerto Rican. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.
The military honors will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Imperial Memorial Gardens Cemetery (5450 CO-78, Pueblo, CO 81005). A reception will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at 1200 Acero Ave, Pueblo, CO 81004.
