She is survived by: her children, Colleen Dawn Armstrong, Curtis Orlin Hutchins and Charmaine Dee Tripp; her siblings, Loretta Dee Emick (Jim) and Sam Ray McDonald (Haide); her sister-in-law Ruth Ann McDonald; her grandchildren, Ilee Michelle DeSoto (Uriah), Deniece June Armijo (George), Kimberly Pearl Hutchins (Justin Ray Beck), Robert Max Armstrong (Lydia), Vanessa May Tripp and Angela Michele Ricker (Garrett Ricker); her great grandchildren, Desiree Nichole Stephenson (John), Hailey Dee Ponce (Anthony), Avery Dawn Smith, Rebecca Rose Armijo, Antal Bond Vida, George Joseph Armijo Jr., Leon Michael Cabello, Kasba Lea Crutchfield and Robert Isaiah Armstrong; and her great great grandchildren, Bryan Alexander Pagan and Elle Grace Ponce. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Horber Funeral Chapel (404 Locust Ave, Las Animas, CO 81054). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at the Las Animas Cemetery (28082 Co Rd 10, Las Animas, CO 81054).
