He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Burbidge and Amelia Burbidge (Kunau); and his siblings, Roxie Newell, Wilma Brill, Lowell Bollin and Dean Burbidge.

He is survived by: his wife Karen Burbidge; his children, Julie Crain (Jim) and Scot Burbidge (Brandy); his grandchildren, McKinzie Rudd (Reagan), Carson Crain, Amelia Burbidge and Branson Burbidge; and his brother Harry Burbidge (Susan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of food and flowers, memorials may be made to Friends of Hollydot, PO Box 19285, Colorado City, CO 81019.
