She was predeceased by: her parents, Granville Frank and Helen Frank; and her husband James Sims, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Carrie Willmert, Jamie Gutierrez (Wayne) and James Sims, II; her grandchildren, Luke Willmert, Scott Willmert, Ambrosia Mansfield, Dominique "Missy Poo" Sims-Brown, JaeLeah "Ladybug" Sims-Goforth, Shasa "Chacha" Sims, Demetria "Birdie" Gutierrez and Demetrio "Boogie" Gutierrez; her great grandchildren, Malykai Willmert, Madilyn Donohue, Eleanor Campbell, Demarious Gutierrez-Mendoza and Evelyn Cindy Campbell; and her pet Brown. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
