He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Spence and Mary Spence; and his nephew Robbie Hill. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kate"; his children, Darby Spence, Reilly Selinger (Greg) and Danny Spence; his sisters, AnnaLee Hill (James) and Marcia Spence; and his siblings' children, Kellie Hill (Stephen) and Michael Hill (Rebecca).
A memorial service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Montgomery & Steward Funeral Chapel (1317 N Main St, Pueblo, CO 81003).
