He was predeceased by: his wife Esther Romero; his daughter Pauline Romero; his parents, John Romero and Maria Romero; his in-laws, John and Catherine Vallejos; his siblings-in-law, Christine Cordova, Delores Sanchez (Albert), Alice Rael (Willie), Pete Vallejos, Levi Vallejos (Eva), Ben Maestas, Dave Escobedo and Frank Gonzales; Corrine Medina.
He is survived by: his children, Tom Romero, Leroy Romero (Tina), Wayne Romero (Rebecca) and Marlene Bernal; his grandchildren, David Romero (Dani), Derek Romero (April), Teri Jackson (Quincy), Brett Bernal, Damian Romero and Eve Romero; his great grandchildren, Elijah Romero, Tatum Romero, Peyton Romero, Zoey Romero, Kena Jackson, Zahrin Jackson and Gabby Romero; his sisters, Elva Gonzales and Ruth Maestas; and his siblings-in-law, Virginia Bueno (Paul) and Reverend Ted Cordova (Marge).
