He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Jay Mead (Lyn), Jan Mead (Michael Arrowood) and Brook (Ann); his sister Jeannie Oakley (Don); his grandchildren, Chelsey Thompson (Chris), Audrey Mead, Colin Arrowood, Aidan Arrowood, Adele Mead-Pineda (Andrew Pineda), Hayley Arrowood, Zachary Mead and Avery Mead; and his nieces, Kerry Oedel and Kristi St. Clair. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
