He was predeceased by: his parents, Ann Borgstedt and Delmar Borgstedt; and his siblings, Wayne, Bob and Barbara.

He is survived by: his wife Claudette; his children, Steven Borgstedt (Teri), Diane Correa (Tim) and Jackelyn Houtchens (Mike); and his grandsons, Brian Correa (Alana), Ronald Correa (Heather), Benjamin Correa, Christopher Borsgtedt (Molly) and Chad Borgstedt (Missy). He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; five great great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
