He was predeceased by: his parents, John Byrd and Savina Byrd; his son Tom; his sisters, Barbara, Lucy and Rachel; and his grandson Andrew.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Byrd (Kristine), Chris Byrd (Darla), Tim Byrd, Stella Archuleta (Dave) and Jennifer Byrd; his stepchildren, Steve Hernandez (Marie), Paul Hernandez (Ruth), Greg Hernandez, Elaine Anderson (Steve) and Herman Hernandez; and his grandchildren, Carlos, Aaron, David, Elena and Jake. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
