She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Roy Rogers and Phyllis Rogers; her husband Nick Gemma; her children, Leslie Gemma, Stacy Smith (Robert) and Shanda Gemma Palmer (Martin); her grandchildren, Mckenzie Hale, Dane Gemma-Johnson, Aiden Gemma-Johnson, Jayden Gemma, Cameron Gemma-Johnson and Michael Smith; her sisters, Mary Pilcher, Carol Howard, Beverly Kailey and Valerie White; and her sisters-in-law, Karen Orazem and Natalie Reese (Joseph Drake). She was also cherished by many numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations in Joy's name may be made out to St. Peter's Episcopal Church.
