He was predeceased by: his parents, Rafael Carillo and Orlinda Carillo; his brothers, Dan, Fred and Tom Carillo; and his sister-in-law Yvette Carillo.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Carillo; his children, Larry (Stephanie) and Deborah (Ted); his sister Marie Hernandez (Steve); his siblings-in-law, Linda Carillo, Christine Martinez, John Martinez (Sherry) and Ralph Baca (Clara); his nephew Alfred Martinez; and his godchildren, Misty (Andrew), Darian (Raven), Monique, Josette and Tazz. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
