He is survived by: his wife Hope Brooks; his children, Sierra Dees (Isaiah), Zachary Holguin (Dakota) and Joede Bustamante-Brooks; his grandchildren, Laila, Jackson, Fredrick, Edmond and Penelope; his mother Marian Brooks; his sister Tricia Burton (Cyd); his aunts and uncles, Yvette "Venus" Brown, Keria Couvillion (Jason), Kevin Hutchins (Kristy) and Kristopher Hutchins (Tammy); and his siblings-in-law, Joie Bustamante Hernandez (Isaac), Raymond Bustamante (Audrey) and Daniel Bustamante Jr. (Rebecca).
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Romero Family Funeral Home (110 Cleveland St, Pueblo, CO 81004).
