He is survived by: his daughters, Renee Joseph (John) and JoLyn Smith; his grandchildren, Austin Joseph (Erica), Jillian Joseph, Allison Joseph and Trevor Nunley; his stepdaughter Valerie Day (Tom); and his brother Donald Smith (Eileen).
