It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luis Ortega (Pueblo, Colorado), who passed away on May 6, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Isidro Ortega and Ramona Ortega. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Rita" Ortega; his children, Elizabeth Ortega, Alfonso Ortega, Gabriella Ortega, Luis Ortega Jr. (Samantha), Lydia Gonzalez (Bonifacio) and Lorenzo Ortega (Brisa); his grandchildren, Poncho Jr., Johnathan Fantasia (Laura), Emiliano, Sergio, Sebastian, Silvano, Santiago, Savino and Silas; his great grandchildren, Giovanni and Analynn; and his siblings, Manuel Ortega, Rosa Ortega and Cruz Ortega. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family.
