She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria Refugio Cornejo and Josephina Flores; her husband Jose; her son Luis; her siblings, Leona, Benjamin, Juan and Epiphanio; and her son-in-law Fernando Lozano.
She is survived by: her children, Josephine Cornejo (Antonio), Alicia Padilla (Francisco), Jose Cornejo (Della), Enrique Cornejo, Rosa Cornejo, Patricia Cornejo and Andres Cornejo (Dawna); her grandchildren, Christina, Liliana (Carlos), Irene, Esmeralda, Olivia, Guadalupe, Nicholas, Miranda, Isabella (Damion), Vanessa, Nathan and Simon; and her siblings, Felipe, Martha, Lourdes and Socorro. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews; as well as extended family and friends.
An active member of Mount Carmel church, for many years she donated her time and cooking talents making Posole, gorditas, and agua frescas to the delight of all those who enjoyed her food.
