She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Robert Marez Sr.; her parents, David Fred and Maria Oralia Smith (Urioste); and her brothers, Michael Joseph Smith and Carl Anthony Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Rosalina Marie Marez, Kenneth Robert Marez Jr. and Aaron Christopher Marez; her grandchildren, Evangelina Marie Marez and Kenneth J. William Marez; and her siblings, Anna Marie Smith, Carla Jane Smith, Margaret Louise Ginther (Brett), Karen Rose Smith, Benjamin David Smith, John Lee Smith, Sidney Fermin Smith, Yvonne Catherine Smith and William Gerard Smith (Diedra). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (2827 Lakeview Ave, Pueblo, CO 81005).
