He was predeceased by: his parents, Leopaldo Vigil and Amalia Vigil; his grandson Joey Garcia; and his siblings, Frank Vigil, Ruben Vigil, Joe Vigil, Leo Vigil, Charlie Vigil, Celina Sisneros, Sammy Vigil, John Vigil and Gilbert Vigil.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Vigil; his children, Joyce Vigil, Phyllis Vigil (Dave Crittenden), Audrey Vigil, Beverly Holm (Erik) and Sylvia Vigil (Chris DeFusco); his grandchildren, Ronald (Lara), Jeremy (Rose), Danielle, Crystal, Anthony, Jake, Jena (Joe), Brandi, Jessica (Carl), Jordan (Tori), Nicholas and Matthew; and his brother Ernest Vigil. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Phil's honor to Sangre de Cristo Community Care as a tribute gift.
