He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Bronken and Joan Bronken (O'Connor); his uncle Francis Bronken (Rich); and his siblings-in-law, Karl Stadem, Sherman Knutson and Tracy Bronken.

He is survived by: his uncle Dick O'Connor; his family Theodora "Teddy" Jacquez; his children, Derek and Sara; his granddaughters, Acacia and Rayne; and his siblings, Barb Melby (Cliff), Beth Carlson (Neil), Holly Bronken, Jim Bronken, Margaret Olmstead (Bob) and Pete Bronken (Leah). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles; as well as his many good friends.
