He is survived by: his sons, Russell Aviña (Nicole) and Adam Aviña; his mother Jennie Salas; his siblings, Robert Salas (Ellen), Ronald Salas, Reuben Salas (Phyllis), Ronald Atencio, Leonard Atencio (Kathy), Annette Atencio Bubak (Jim) and Trina Atencio Cleveland (James); his girlfriend Mary Ellen Trujillo; and his former wife Lorraine Aviña. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
