He is survived by: his children, Tina Tredway, Richard and Jay Fierro; his daughter-in-law Trista Fierro; his uncle James Selvage; his adoptive daughter Ana Vasquez; his grandchildren, Emilio, Carlos, Diego, Ka'Leigh, Madelynn, Annalycia, Selena, Alezundrea, Mariana, Kyra, Destynee, Isacc, Mateo, Antonio, Izaiah, Eliana, Zane, Zion and Ilijah; and his brother Ernie Trusty.
