He was predeceased by: his mother Pauline Montano-Sanchez; and his son Robert Montano. He is survived by: his father Mike Montano; his wife Martha Montano; his children, Angela (Cono), Roberta DeHerrera (TJ), Pete Rodriguez and Lucila Rodriguez; his grandchildren, Joseph Vertuccio, Anthony Vertuccio, Larisa DeHerrera, Leticia DeHerrera, Santiago Rodriguez, Roman Rodriguez, Gabriel Mann, Marcellus Lendsey, Hailia Lendsey and Z'hane Lendsey; his great grandchildren, Azariah DeHerrera, Isaiah Vigil and Nathaniel Finley; his siblings, Michael Montano (Veloy), Ruben Montano (Shirley), Richard Montano (Melissa) and Charlie Montano (Patty); and his pets, Nano and Bogi. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
