He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Soto and Esther Soto; his siblings, Salvadore Soto and Rebecca Madrid; his grandson Ryan Lucero; and his nephew Brandon Madrid.
He is survived by: his children, Jeanelle Soto-Quintana (Charles) and Tracy Chavez; and his grandchildren, Micaela Giadone (Jordan), Delicia Quintana, Emiliano Quintana, Josiah Lucero and Miranda Lucero. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, godchildren, and numerous cousins.
