She was predeceased by: her parents, Onesimo "Lonnie" Garcia (Joan Garcia) and Joan Garcia (Marshall); and her siblings, Gigi Schieber (Garcia), Diana Sanchez (Garcia), Ernie Garcia and Thomas Garcia.

She is survived by: her children, Andrea Vásquez Madrid (Angel) and George Vásquez (Karen); her grandchildren, Cheyenne, Sierra, Phoenix, Dakota Madrid, Anaya and Zeta Vásquez; and her siblings, Phil Garcia and Jerry Garcia.

A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Church (2827 Lakeview Ave, Pueblo, CO 81005).
