She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Book and Edna Book; her husband Duane Carter Simpson; and her brother Ron Book. She is survived by: her sons, Curtis Simpson (Kenna) and Michael Simpson (Jamie); her brothers, Dean Book (Kat) and Bill Book (Sylvia); her brother-in-law Vinton Simpson (Sharon); and her grandchildren, Carter Simpson (Shanea Rae), Colton Simpson and Braden Simpson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the King of Kings Lutheran Church (2561 Vinewood Ln, Pueblo, CO 81005).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
