He was predeceased by: his former wife Renate Rohrer; his sons, Mark and Leon; his siblings, Bob and Lorraine; and his parents, Charles Rohrer and Helen Rohrer.

He is survived by: his wife Lucinda "Cindy" Rohrer; his children, Kurt Krech, Diana (Terry), Deborah (Troy) and Richard (Wendy); and his siblings, Duane, Helen (Kip) and Darlene (Butch). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
