She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Danny and Sylvia Salazar; and her godfather Cruz Manzanares. She is survived by: her children, Damion Morgan, Thomas Montano (Leira Valerio) and Sylvia Montano (Jacob Romero); her grandchildren, Azarijah, Azayliana, Axakhaeus and Xeniyah; her parents, Maria Salazar and Alvin Benskin; her siblings, Richard Salazar and Jayme Esquibel (Gaby Mendez); and her godmother Phyllis Pena. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
