We announce the death of Teofilo Serna of Pueblo, Colorado, born in Durango, Colorado, who passed away on September 22, 2026, at the age of 101. Teofilo will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his wife Ida Serna; his children, Kenneth, Marcella, Mary and Barbara Serna; his parents, Frutoso Serna and Ursulita Serna; his siblings, Severo, Juan, Fidel and Wilbert Serna; and his son-in-law Maggy Baldonado.
He is survived by: his daughter Evelyn Baldonado; his grandchildren, Denise Louther (Cory), Darlene Baldonado, Deanna Baldonado and David Baldonado (Jill); his great grandchildren, Jaden, Hunter, Tyler, Gabby, Alexis, Darius, Gia and Oscar; his great great grandchild Lisandro; and his siblings, Amos Serna and Mary Robles.
A rosary will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 9:45 AM at the St. Leander Catholic Church (1438 E 7th St, Pueblo, CO 81001). A Mass will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Roselawn Cemetery (1706 Roselawn Rd, Pueblo, CO 81006-1614).
