She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jose Ramon Sanchez and Eulalia Sanchez; her siblings, Julia, Erma, Eva and Horacio; her husband Joseph Serna; her children, Robert, Randy, Duanne and Sheila; her grandchildren, Rob, Ryan, Michael, Richard, Brandon and Ariana; and her great grandchildren, Robby, Camille, Zoie, Milo and Kai.
