He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Aaron Brooks and Jessie Lee Emerson; his wife Elizabeth Brooks (Evanoika); and his sister Patricia Carlson. He is survived by: his children, Patricia "Patti" Stroup (Myron) of Sierra Vista, Glyenda Gillis (Doug) of Peyton and Claude Brooks (Lisa) of Peyton, Colorado.; his grandchildren, Billy, Doug Jr., Tommy, Sarah, Seth, Cody, Theo and Breanna; and his great grandchildren, Gage, James, Shelby, Brealey, Kynzley and Braxton.
