He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Byron Carrigan and Nina Carrigan; his wife Molly Sue Madison; his sister Kem Lawrence (Rex Lawrence); his children, Chris Kendall (Dick Kendall), Nina Colleen Cook (Dave Cook) and Tony Carrigan; his grandchildren, Danielle Smith, Janet Kendall, Richard Kendall and Hank Locklear; and his nephew Carrigans.
