She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Schroeder and Leora Schroeder (Coleman); her former husband Douglas Eilerts; and her brother-in-law Rainer Eberhard. She is survived by: her husband Bill Liggett; her sons, Erik Eilerts of Boulder, CO and Scott Eilerts (Jennie) of Santa Fe, NM; her grandchildren, Garrett and Kathryn; her daughter Allison Shanks (Jay) of Hermosa Beach, CA; her grandchildren, Kai and Nikau; her stepchildren, William Liggett of Gambrills, MD and Marlina Liggett of Chicago, IL; her stepgrandchildren, Tacari and Tyrion; and her siblings, Stanley Schroeder (Susan) of San Diego, CA, Susan Eberhard of Friday Harbor, WA and John Schroeder of Prunedale, CA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her name to the American Cancer Society, or to Second Chance Humane Society in Ridgway, CO, in honor of her beloved cat Daphne.
