It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Hirakata of Rocky Ford, Colorado, who passed away on March 20, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Sylvester Licano and Reyes Licano; and her siblings, Irma Edwards, Raymond Licano, Richard Licano and Jobe Licano.

She is survived by : her husband Jerre Hirakata; her children, Michael Hirakata of Rocky Ford and Gail Contreras of Pueblo; and her siblings, Gilbert Licano (Rocky) of Seattle, WA, Ozy Licano of Las Vegas, NV, Obed Licano of El Paso, TX and Ruth Licano of Pueblo. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 31st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Valley View Cemetery (27980 Co Rd 20, Rocky Ford, CO 81067).
