We are sad to announce that on August 16, 2024, at the age of 38, Teresa Marie Avalos of Rocky Ford, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Gilbert Avalos; her brother Joseph Palomino; and her brother-in-law Jose Maes. She is survived by: her mother Mary Avalos; her children, Markus Rodriquez, Amaya Rodriquez, Jadiss Rodriquez (Kierra) and Elias Rodriquez; her grandchildren, Antonio Sanchez Rodriquez, Amedio Archuleta and Adelaya Rodriquez; her siblings, Barbara Leyba (Nick), Diana Palomino Marfil (Mary), Daniel Palomino and Lisa Jones (Tony); and her nieces and nephews, Karen Casillas (Mike), Brittany Leyba, Lisa Leyba, Shaina Herrera (Roberto), Lillian Rodriguez (Noe), Apollonia San Miguel (Poni), Eric Palomino, Mardi Palomino, Krista Maes and Jaxtyn Maes.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First Church of the Nazarene (1111 W 10th St, La Junta, CO 81050).
