He is survived by: his mother Roberta "Bobbie" Valdez (Walz); his wife Monica L. Valdez of Rocky Ford, CO; his children, Shaniece Valdez, Tanika Valdez (Randy Romero), Kayla Valdez (William Hoskins) and Cristian Valdez; and his grandchildren, Stevie Valdez, Layla Fernandez and Zakary Garcia. He is also survived by nieces & nephews.
