It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eva D. Holschuh of Rush, Colorado, born in Yuma, Colorado, who passed away on December 30, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Leroy Shurtleff and Ella Marie Shurtleff (Campbell); her husband Charles Everett Holschuh; her son Michael Dean Holschuh; her daughter-in-law Tammy; and her siblings, Ronald, Roland, Eldon, Kenneth "Sunny", Terry Shurtleff, Marilyn Coffey and Sharon Clifton.
She is survived by: her sons, Melvin "Gene" Holschuh (Pam) of Elbert, CO and Gary Holschuh of Rush, CO; her brothers, Verle Shurtleff (Nancy) of Idaho Falls, ID and Royce Shurtleff (Sherry) of Aurora, CO; and her grandchildren, Lisa (Holschuh), Sagaser (Don), Billy Holschuh, Jesse Holschuh (Melissa), Mikey Holschuh (Kiley), Jake Holschuh (Emily), Jeremy Holschuh (Megan), Victoria (Holschuh), Villabos (Miguel), Colten Holschuh (Jenni) and Josh Holschuh. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
