It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Theodore Eichman (Rush, Colorado), who passed away on December 30, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Germans (Katherina Eichman) and Volga Germans; and his siblings, Henry, George, Emma Gerlach, Mary Selby and Clara Doran.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Rasner; his children, Kenneth Eichman, Kathleen Landon (Ollie) and Amy Balman (Brian); his grandchildren, Rebecca Chumbley (David) of Fountain, CO, Justin Landon (Vickie) of Yoder, CO, Benjamin Balman (Jenna) of Spring Hill, KS, Joel Balman (Kirstin) of Eagar, AZ, Luke Balman (Hannah) of Lindsborg, KS and Katrina Widgery (Graham) of Doha; and his brother Harold Eichman (Shirley) of Rush, CO.. He is also survived by nine great-granddaughters, and eight great-grandsons.
