He is survived by: his wife Diana Valdez; his children, David Valdez (Tina), Mark Valdez (Heather), Elizabeth Perko (Kevin), Joseph Valdez and Gunner Valdez; his niece Sara Rios; his grandchildren, Joseph Valdez (Kasey), Matthew Valdez (Brittany), Jacob Valdez, Michael Valdez, Brynlie Valdez, Lillie Perko (Kody), Maggie Perko (Elijah), Sydney Perko (Jose), Benjamin Perko and Winnie Perko; his great grandchildren, Sebastian Valdez, Tobi Vigil and Opal Vigil; his siblings, Richard Valdez (Carol), Catherine Stanfill and Evelyn Valdez-Rios; and his brother-in-law Robert Davis. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and life-long friends.
