He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ashley and Genevieve Ashley; his brother Jack Ashley; his daughter Wendy Ashley; and his son-in-law Larry Walrod.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce (Plewes); his children, Tim Ashley (Tami), Wanda Walrod and Tom Ashley (Keri); his sister Margaret Graves; his siblings-in-law, Charley Plewes, Gary Plewes (Gloria) and Pam Eggleston (Micah); and his grandchildren, Kirsten (John), Amy (Kevin), Lauren (Amar), Courtney (Matt), Brianna, Austin (Destanie), Alyssa, Trevor and Chase. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Salida's First Presbyterian Church. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at the Fairview Cemetery (203 E Sackett Ave, Salida, CO 81201).
