As Shirley departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Shirley may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Shirley leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Anthony "Ants" DeLeo; her parents, Charles Friend and Retha Joanne Friend; her brother Richard "Buck"; and her sister-in-law Loretta Friend.
She is survived by: her daughters, Shilo DeLeo and Lisa Anderson; and her sisters, Peggy Friend, Judy Raines (Gunny) and Gwenda Havens (Chester). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Everett Ranch (10090 Co Rd 150, Salida, CO 81201).
