He was predeceased by : his brother Sam Medina; his cousin Tony Medina; his grandparents, Encarnacion Medina, Clarence Medina and Margie Jefferson; and his great-grandparents, Sam and Rose Medina.
He is survived by : his daughters, Mariah and Angela Medina; the mother of his children Roberta Romero of San Luis, CO; his parents, Leroy Medina and Lorraine Medina; his siblings, Janel Medina and Leon Martinez; his nieces, Lorroya Martinez (Jose), Aryana, Zayla Martinez, Chasity Martinez (Angelo), Azariah and Angela Taylor; his nephew Aydrien Martinez; his godmother Rose-Ann Medina; and his godchildren, Emilio DeHerrera, Diego Romero, Samuel Aguilera and Reina Aguilera.
