She was predeceased by : her parents, Gabriel Romero and Domitila Vigil Romero (Leopoldo T. Vigil); her sons, Leopoldo B. Vigil and Wilbert Vigil; and her siblings, Cora Chai, Pricilla McComas, Christina and Joe Romero.

She is survived by : her cousin Licia; her daughters, Lillian Simermeyer (Edward) of Baltimore, MD, Roseline Blea (Gabriel) of Las Vegas, NM, Rebecca Matte (Tom) of Albuquerque, NM, Annette Vigil of Albuquerque, NM, Kay Vigil of Montague, MA and Maria Aragon (Santos) of Ft. Garland, CO; her daughters-in-law, Elma Vigil of Taos, NM and Theresa Vigil of Las Vegas, NM; her sons, Serafin Vigil (Lorrie) of San Luis, CO, Thomas Vigil (Jenny) of Santa Fe, NM, Francis Vigil of Arroyo Hondo, NM, Ramon Vigil of San Luis, CO and Gary Vigil (Sherri) of San Luis, CO; her grandson Jonathan Vigil (Rhonda) of Ft. Garland, CO; her siblings, Fabi Romero of San Cristobal, NM, Loretta Wilson of Albuquerque, NM, Eleanor Vigil (Alfredo) of Taos, NM, Eliu Romero (Kim) of Taos, NM and Robert Romero (Vera) of San Cristobal, NM; and her siblings-in-law, Marcella Romero and Robert McComas. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 25great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren.
