He is survived by: his daughters, Tish Hier (Jami Huckfeldt) of Mitchell and Tonya Hier (Shane Burr) of Elbert, Colorado.; his grandsons, Chazz Hier (Sarah) and Chantz Hier Walpole (Tina) of Elizabeth; Thomas Charles Hier (Tee) of Maple Hill, Kansas..

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to Sedalia Historical Museum.
