We are sad to announce that on September 27, 2025, at the age of 87, Phyllis Mead (Sedalia, Colorado), born in Denver, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Phyllis is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Phyllis' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Siscoe and Mary Siscoe. She is survived by: her husband John "Jack" Franklin Mead; her children, Linda Sue Wilson (Mark), Keith Boardman, Terry Boardman and Gary Boardman (Mary); and her stepdaughters, Robin Kay Brown and Pennie Lynn Mace. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bear Canon Cemetery (435 N Perry Park Rd, Sedalia, CO 80135).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Phyllis's memory to the Springer Senior Citizens Center or to a local animal charity of your choice—causes close to her heart.
