He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Gale Teter and Virginia Eveline Stickley; his grandparents, Bill, Eva Stickley, Rufus and Sarah Teter; his siblings, Dorothy Koehler, Leroy and Doug; his siblings-in-law, Herb Koehler, Rich Gilliland and Bonnie Teter; and his nieces, Tammy McCormick and Chris Gerk.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Lea Teter (Johnson); his children, Rhonda Teter Lake (Mike), Tera Marick (Kyle) and Brittany Lake; his great grandchildren, Alaina, Brody, Cashton, Oakleigh and Dokken; his siblings, Nancy Pottorff (Kenny), Gayleen Gilliland, Ginger Urbach (Larry), Roger Teter (Jan), Roberta Teter and Judy Queen (Dennis); and his friend Albert.
A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Snyder Bible Church (22622 Fisher Ave, Snyder, CO 80750). A burial was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Walks Camp Methodist Cemetery.
