We announce the death of Lester Gentzler in Springfield, Colorado, who passed away on July 30, 2026, at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Peter and Jessie L. Gentzler; and his siblings, Wilmont "Red" Gentzler, Richard F. "Dick" Gentzler, Gerald Dean Gentzler and Corinda "Cindy" Quick.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Gentzler; his children, Wendy Strickland (Steve) and Dane Gentzler (Triva); his nephew Jeff Self (Melonie); and his grandchildren, Sean Strickland (Holly), Riley Strickland, Jenifer Spicer (Justin), Kristen Gentzler-Tapia (Enrique) and Ryan Gentzler. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Springfield Cemetery.
