She was predeceased by : her parents, Jesus Reyes and Casimira Escobar; her daughter Renee Elizabeth Burciaga; her siblings, Manuel, Oscar Escobar and Guadalupe "Lupe" Escobar Jimenez; and her nephew Miguel Angel Jimenez.

She is survived by : her husband Armando Jesus Burciaga; her sons, Alfredo Jesus "Freddy" Burciaga and Armando Miguel "Mundy" Burciaga of Denver; and her siblings, Joe Escobar (Viola) of Denver and Luz Hargis (Jim) of Springfield.
