Donald DeSoto Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald DeSoto of Sterling, Colorado, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 7, 2026 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances DeSoto (Bianco) and Domenic DeSoto; his wife Loretta DeSoto; his siblings, Marge Mansuetti, Corrine Gerk, Theresa Wilson and Ernie DeSoto; and his great grandchild Gracie Thompson-Short.
He is survived by: his children, Nick DeSoto (Carolee) of Arvada, Doug DeSoto (Kathy) of Peoria and LaDonna Short (Dan) of Salida, Colorado; and his grandchildren, Kelly Gamble (James) of Phoenix, Kim DeSoto (Kyle) of Philadelphia, Victor Short (Laura) of Aurora, Alyse Knust (Kyle) of Decatur, Zach Short (Allie) of Salida and Domenic DeSoto (Leah) of Lakewood, Colorado. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
