It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ed F. Lietzke of Sterling, Colorado, born in El Dorado, Kansas, who passed away on April 4, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Ed leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph E. Lietzke and Lois Courcier Lietzke; his sister Lynda Smith; his friend Bob Myers; and his pet Lexus.
He is survived by: his sister Nancy Martin of Farmington; and his nieces and nephews, Chris Conrad of Springfield, Reece Conrad of Collierville, Ryan Smith of Nevada, Wendy Conrad of Prairie Grove and Dana Smith-Rosenblum of California.
